We offer a variety of courses for Peace Officers, Police Officers, Military Personnel, and Security Personnel. All courses are available as Initial Courses and as Annual Re-certifications. In addition, we can customize any of the listed courses to meet your Agency's specific needs, or even prepare a new curriculum. Contact us for details. On July 22, 2004, President George W. Bush signed the "Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 (H.R. 218)" bill into law. All Peace Officer Training Academy firearms courses meet or exceed the standards of New York State, as required in Section 3(a)(c)(5). If you are a "qualified retired law enforcement officer", as defined in Section 3 of the Act, we can provide you the annual training required to meet the requirements. Click here for course details!

Recertifications   All weapons certifications must be renewed annually. Please contact the Academy at least sixty (60) days prior to your expiration date to find out when and where the next course will be held.
